Disney sets premiere date for “The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar” TV Movie
October 14th, 2015 – Disney announced last Friday that “The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar”, a primetime television movie, will premiere on Sunday, November 22 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel in Canada and in the U.S. The movie will also be available on the WATCH Disney Channel app, WATCH Disney Junior app, Disney Channel on Demand and Disney Junior on Demand following the premiere. Disney’s Mickey Mouse gets another Emmy Nomination
August 25th, 2015 – The 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced last month and Disney’s Mickey Mouse was once again nominated for best Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program. Mercury Filmworks' very own Graham MacDonald is up for another Emmy nomination for his role as Animation Director on the Mickey Mouse short "Mumbai Madness", alongside the Disney Television Animation team. The Emmy awards will take place on September 20th at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Disney unveils new clip from The Lion Guard
August 23rd, 2015 – Disney recently released a sneak peak of the TV movie, The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar, which will air in November on Disney Channel. The exclusive clip was first aired on stage at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.
Disney has also announced the impressive cast that will lend their voices to the TV movie and eventual series set to premiere in 2016 on Disney Junior.
