Toot & Puddle Make a Big Splash in U.S. Ratings!

A joint effort between Mercury Filmworks and National Geographic Kids, Toot & Puddle airs on Nickelodeon's Noggin preschool network in the United States and has followed up the promise of having the highest rated network premiere (Nov.17,2008) with being Noggin's #3 most viewed program, with over 750,000 fans tuning in each week. With publications like Time Out Kids New York raving "These globe-trotters make Indiana Jones look like a homebody.", you can bet the #1 and 2 ratings leaders "Dora" and "Diego" are feeling the heat. (No Puddle, put the lemonade away. It is a nice gesture though.)

Toot and Puddle is inspired by the best-selling New York Times book series by award winning Holly Hobbie. The show focuses on the close bond of friendship while the two pigs' very different and unique personalities have struck a chord with children and parents alike.  Toot's gung-ho jump first, look later attitude and penchant for thrilling world-wide adventures is balanced by Puddle's thoughtfulness and talent for finding local wonders in his own backyard.  From their travels experiencing distant cultures to their backyard explorations pursuing different interests, Toot and Puddle prove that great friendships and heaps of FUN can grow out of mutual respect, tolerance and admiration for our differences.

With enthusiastic press reviews pouring in, Toot & Puddle anticipate hundreds of thousands more fans joining in on their upcoming adventures.
